The History of Annas Bay Beach House
The Annas Bay Beach House bulk head (concrete foundation) was built in 1957 and the home was soon built in 1958. The lumber to build the cabin was all hand-logged and milled on a sawmill located on nearby land owned by the Hunter family. The property has been in the family for over 100 years, and the cabin was built by hand by the extended family as a place to gather and celebrate.
We are sharing our historic family cabin with you as a place to enjoy the Olympic Mountain and Hood Canal views. Watch eagles and blue herons feast on the bounty of the shores. Watch seals frolic and occasionally get a glimpse of Puget Sound orcas.
Currently, the tidelands located off the shore of Annas Bay Beach House are used as commercial oyster harvesting lands.
